Product Details
BSFB600 is a spring-applied, hydraulically released safety brake with a maximum tightening force of 500,000N.
The spring system has low friction bearings and the shaft gives floating self-adjusting operation and is particularly suitable for axial movement of the braking system with the brake disk.
The compact construction design is also ideal for single spring applications in limited spaces.
Options
Mechanical brake release and brake pad wear indicator switch
Equipped with brake release and brake pad wear sensing sensors (digital or analog output)
Sintered metal for high speed or high temperature applications
Organic asbestos-free brake pads
This series of brakes is suitable for damp, dusty and highly corrosive environments
Maximum unilateral clearance of 2mm
This brake is suitable for humid, dusty and highly corrosive environments
Hydraulic control of the brake meets a variety of braking functions
Small clearance, fewer moving parts, shorter response time, faster braking speeds
Easy adjustment reduces maintenance costs
Large brake pad contact area
--Lower temperature of brake pads and discs
--Extended brake pad service life
Two sets of brake disc springs to reduce braking force loss
--Improve the safety of brake
Fewer moving parts, easier maintenance, lower repair costs
Easy brake pad replacement due to removable brake pads, reducing maintenance costs
Easy to install - only 6 M42 bolts are used
Brake pad installation is based on spring retraction, ensuring that the brake pads always return to their original position, thus avoiding brake pad wear.
Leakage ports prevent hydraulic fluid from leaking and fouling the brake discs for high brake safety.
Larger pressure port and oil outlet - Reducing installation costs
Reduced brake pad surface pressure - stable coefficient of friction
Lower hydraulic operating pressure - long hydraulic system service life
Braking force as a result of pad wear - Stable clamping force extends spring service life
Explanation of the BSFB 600 model
BS is for brake system
F is for fail, safe, spring brake, hydraulic release
B is for brake type
600 = series + clamping force
e.g. 630 = 300,000 N
Calculation
1. All data are based on a clearance of 0.5 mm on one side and a maximum clearance of 3 mm on one side.
2. The braking force is based on the minimum clamping force and the theoretical coefficient of friction μ = 0.4, both sides are in contact.
3. The loss of clamping force caused by every 1mm of piston movement is 0.5mm of wear on one side of the brake pad.
F₈ = Fc×2×μ
M₈ =1/2×a×F. × (D . -0.30)
M. = braking torque (Nm)
a is the number of brakes acting on the brake disk
FB is the brake force Refers braking torque table (N)
Do is the outer diameter of the brake disk (m)
0.30 = brake pad width (m)
